American Back Porch

The perfect American back porch
it’s décor a soft winsome blue;
You can sit in an old chair
and gaze at abundance
with a sense of still;
There is nothing
that compares
to this
bliss.

In the old days in North Carolina you sat on the porch with a glass of very sweet iced tea and watched the birds while talking waving at neighbors as honeysuckle blew there scents on the breeze the kids climbed fruit trees! I was one of those kids! How time flies! Thanks for reviving memories!

Feeling comfortable already. Maybe a beer just to feel more at home.
