Yes, as Youth will,
We've followed our share of philosophers and fools,
Somehow coming out intact on the other side every time.
But this time!
Oh ye gods, what have we wrought!
We've proven our mania for Equality
Extends to letting anyone who makes the right promises lead us,
Even straight into Hell.
Why else would we elect a Man-Boy criminal,
A fool who can be led by the nose
By anyone who flatters him,
By anyone with money and no conscience
By anyone who values Might over Right
To be our leader? Twice!
