America the Beautiful
For the beauty of this lady Is only skin deep,
a mask of the devil, a token of his sleep,
a sculpture of good, which we never could be,
wax in the sunlight, is all that we see,
I feel your anger, because wrong is our right,
I dread of the consequence , I pray there is no night,
smiles on their faces and cheer in their eyes,
a falseness in their hearts and thunder in the skies,
crumbling world of hopes and dreams,
the hopes of the future undone at the seams,
for I am apart of this nightmarish scheme,
blood in the streams,
a land of the lost,
for some that will profit, for others it will cost,
You know of this place,
you look in its face,
The world of perfection ,fallen from grace,
in the words of our fathers" justice for all"
for in the end the truth be" this freedom will fall".
