America Or So We Call It
So vibrant waves the stars and stripes
So proud and quick we are to boast
Looking out of immigrant covered seas, coast to endless coast.
Taking in vain our beloved fathers name
So casual to be heard during a sports game.
But to Americans roaming faithless it's all just the same.
Tired of the hypocrisy and ruthlessness in the worlds 'largest' heart
Standing in the streets screaming at your neighbor is were violence borrowed its
start.
So sad the day when innocent children die and we ask ourselves if no knowing
why.. We paint this canopy of disguise over our nation until its time for war;
"Now get into formation!!"
It's brutal and sad,
I think everyone has officially gone mad
With the economy sinking and people accusing, I wonder if it all goes on simply
because it's all soo amusing?
