America Is Not Broken

America is not Broken I think many are jealous of what they can’t have. They keep judging America, trying to tear us in half. The rabid will loathe what they can’t comprehend. They all come from a place that we protect and defend. America is not broken; your propaganda is absurd. Imagine this world, if there was truth in your word. You are able to slander, America gave you that right. If it weren’t for the United States, you’d fade away in the night. Be thankful that Russia doesn’t control your shore. Could a broken America save you from war? If we were broken, your voice would be taken. Life as you know it, would be oppressed and shaken. Never take stock in the words of a fool. They are often misleading and mostly just cruel. Innuendo they spread with their feeble attack. America is not broken; we still lead the pack.

Hello Mark ... it's about time a poem was written to explain how the US quietly protects so many of the worlds communities. I'm well aware an eye is kept on Australian against foreign aggression - thank you Mark - Lindsay

Things got so much worse four years ago when Dumpy Trumpy wanted to build a wall. The division he caused was between Americans and now the country is going through healing processes on many fronts. You’ve written what many feel but are too weak to write.

Mark, I can't thank you enough for your poem. So true! So needs to be shouted out these days. I'd encourage you to read my poem "Just Saying My Piece." No, America remains strong and vigilant and a bastion of freedom...even the freedom to be criticized and put down!
