I am different : and yet the same
I am male : yet, my tears hide
I am old : yet young inside
I am weak : yet am made strong
I am equal : yet complement
I am open : yet introspect
I am open-eyed : who but I
Sees life contrariwise

The title is perfect. I would say being a paradox is a beautiful thing because not being one would be flat, one dimensional and in turn, boring. Great thought provoking write, Brian! Love, Robin

Great piece and well constructed , as ever ...You,re dead-right ; Big boys don't cry !!! ... sob , sob!!! , well just a little sniffle ( conversely ) ...
