Amber

I heard your laugh come through my voice today,
I'm sure that means you were right by my side,
It was four short years back just yesterday,
The whole town over learned the news and cried,
You'll never be forgotten, but be sure,
Each passing day has been a steady cure,
So that we do not mourn your youthful end,
Instead we thank the fates you were our friend.
