Amazing Feets

Tap tap tapping tickle toes
whose toes are those
caught in the throes
of Jimmy Choo’s canker toes?

Pigeon tootsies, pointy footsies
wiggly wonders, buckled under
piggies crossing over and under

All in the name of . . .

STYLE!!

Legs appear longer, calves look stronger
heels higher in honor of
the fashion donner . . .
sorry, but yer back’s a gonner.

Monolo Blahniks strap those arches,
crinkled toes just keep on marches.

Forward head thrust is required,
stiff legged foot steps too inspired,
jiggly butt and tortured hips.
God, can I find a place to sits.

My small stature screams for height
to raise me up beyond a sprite,
but I refuse to do the shoes
that dent my cruise, my toes abused
for the sake of style when all the while . . .

I just want my flip flops –
