Like the tangible minds
---of those
who wrote a thousand words
before they had left,

this new wisdom,
unknowingly, steps into
their passion
---shut in a glass hour, yet not forgotten;

paper by the hand, pen stocked
between teeth, while thought wanders, looking
for the answers, the styles
and maybe, the rhythm---

the baton, so it seems, that have passed
unto him whose thought wanders around, looking
for the answers, the styles
and maybe, the rhythm

by those whose minds wrote a thousand words,
un-noticed, not until
he acclaimed one of their vibrant smiles
in a night of sensual poetry.
