Amanda and the Dog

Amanda went for a walk She didn't want to jay walk Along the way she meta dog So she bent down to pet it Then she spoke some kind words Gently she said to the dog " Why are you following me"? The dog said"I have no home" "So instead I have to roam "Can you help me?" "You see I need a home To keep me warm and dry" "Can I come with you, to stay?" "Hey thats okay ,we can live together Now they are happy to have each other.

Darlene: Any kindness to a dog, warms my heart. I have a wealth friend that started feeding feral cats in 2008 after our "big flood". He now has so many, he found it necessary to hire a lady to take the afternoon feeding run. Yours was a lovely tale. Thanks for sharing with all of us on the soup. keep it up. oldbuck

Now this was a happy poem. I loved it. I wish I could take every stray dog in that I see, but I can't. Nice one Darlene.

I wish also that I could take cats and dogs that re strays and keep them all.
