great write, at my granddaughters school a few days ago there was a boy kept following a girl who kept saying NO. when my 24 yr old daughter was in pre-school ,,,, her teacher told me she slapped a boy for kissing her after she said NO. But they are still friends on face book till this very day ;} CUTE

Alot of guys have been love struck with girls of that name, Harry. There are love songs with that title so you had alot of company even at such a young age. haha and that corporal punishment.... in different forms is still rife at any age! Enjoyed your poem

Harry, this is one of my favorite names. Remember the Barry manilow song Mandy? I love that short name for Amanda as well. This is a nice little remembrance of your early years. I don't have any little boys I recall until I was maybe 7!
