Amalgamated Man
I absorb your words,
I ingest the thoughts they convey
The wisdom of your pen,
I imbibe ...
lay my sponge tongue
on your inked poetic skin
Amalgamated Man, this I be
The beanstalk of my tapestry of words,
I owe to you and you and thee
Climbing, climbing ... ever climbing so high
on the ladder of knowledge,
viewing thru the clouds of ignorance wondrously
Ask of me,
for I stand on the sky spires of your muse —
and I will tell to thee
all of the elevated things I see
