Am I Your Eye
am I not this
being
in your eye
am I
a small fly
stuns my sight
i am a burning horizon of wonder
i perceive the inconceivable
we exist in the same unmoving moment
as if you and i
were coverings for each other
we are embedded
Under closed eyelids
i make the world sightless
the more I look
the world seems but a shadow
that does not even see us
unlatch yourself
in my unknown answer
be my shining question
your body
planted and flowering
in mine
We meet in this place
where you were already
always have been
my i
