Am I

Am I

Am I destined to be the captain, navigating through life’s thunderstorms and rainbows,
Or simply a passenger, watching as time’s river flows?
Am I the lead actor in my story,
Or a hidden figure in someone else's?
Am I able to ascend past the expectations placed upon my name,
Or will I fall, bearing the weight of them all, consumed by the flame?
Am I the tree, providing shelter when it rains,
Or am I a lost nomad, seeking its solace while in pain?
Am I skilled enough to mask my emotions,
Or do they betray me in troubled times?
Am I ready to explore what the world has to offer,
Or will I leave this story unfinished knowing im the author;
Am I?
Am I?
I am.
