Alzheimer's

Looking at me
Who are you I don’t know
Who I am
Mind repeating it self
One day I am found
The next I am lost
Faces fading away with time
Lost in a misty cloudy place
Flash backs of special people places and things
Fighting emotions slowly vanishing
Desperately seeking to collect
To connect to relocate
The memories my mind won’t keep
Lost within me myself and I
No windows no mirrors
Can find me
Confused and confined
Family describe old memories as if new
The favorite relived not yet faded
Memories going on empty
