Always On My Mind
the knowledge of your absence
is a whisper in the wind
a melody echoing
a haunting presence
in the chambers of my heart
a portent made of desire
we dance in moonlight
beneath stars
beneath time
in the wild places
I create for us
in the fantasy of dreams
your essence lingers
a timeless rhythm
where you dwell
always on my mind
in the hush of night
and in the dawn's soft light.
