I met him while walking,
and the coffee shop- soon we were talking.
He was a friendly man,
and our friendship began.
On nice days we ran,
while running he listened- I was babbling.
Telling my life story,
he was older but handsome and brainy.
A storyteller too,
we fit like an old shoe.
His blue eyes were see-through,
in those eyes I saw a soul of beauty.
And soon we were holding hands,
our new relationship had no demands.
I just accepted love,
and saw red hearts above.
I was his ladylove,
he kissed me- I wanted to do headstands.
Then, he told me something,
his job was moving- come with me darling.
I was sad and broken,
filled with dark depression.
Could I, my own life shun,
when we meet- my heart is left bleeding.
