Always I Miss You

When I'm home sick, sulking half the day because your not here, And getting sadder if I say madder because your not there, I remind myself in an unusual way theres worse fared, If you don't mind being compared, Repeating the many ways you cared, The experiences fondly replayed in many ways, Thoughts and memories that make me gay, Every recipe, every taste, Looking back it all seems in an awkward haste, Now it is what I use to fill my plate, It's what I use so I won't be late, Staying here learning to appreciate, All the miles, trucks caring freight.. For your Christmas gifts the children just can't wait, But if you visit my mind would quake.
