Always Here
On my quest to become his guest, along my life's
travels where my heart avails to seek his face.
His grace rises up from the pavement and his strength
I find in the winds that blow around me.
When the storms in life seem to prevail, I can hear
floating down from on high his precious promises.
Be still my child for in the end I will be there waiting
for you.
When things surround me daily and face me with
fears and the tears I just cannot hold back.
He lifts me up closer with his words you are not alone
for I am here.
When darkness gathers a force against me
he stands firm a greater force and moves them
far from my path.
He gathers me within his wings of healing
power and removes the cancerous worm.
When the seas rage he sends me down a rope,
called hope.
He blazes anew the precious increase
of faith to reach for the golden ring of his promises.
His blessings, mercy, and grace never cease.
Still I hear him say "Child, I am with you always".
