Always a Poet

I just met you
And I loved you
I was excited to know you more
I was excited to hear from you
From the words you weaved so well
From the seeds you planted so fertile

I enjoyed reading your poems
I loved to see your words on mine
It was like a barter trade of wisdom
Or like a barter trade of life lessons
I introduced you to my world
And you welcomed me to yours

Now gone, but not forgotten 
In appreciation, I embrace those memories
I will always remember your encouraging words
I will always remember your support
In the power of words, I salute you
Nice meeting you
In peace and love
