Alter For Two -

I remember now the promise,
it must have been in the womb,
for darkness was warm and sound was fluid,
the only time that two heartbeats were in my body,
an offering from God to me for us,
words as a silhouette skylining the architecture of our soul,
God made only one promise to me, as a lover only capable of total trust once,
that if I passionately worship God, then God will worship me,
God lights the wick , I burn the wax, we illuminate the facts,
such as soul is sight and hatred plight,
conviction of talent with no restriction,
a tenent for the tenacious to tender doubt with toughness,

my watery world collapsed, I was in dock
ready for the sport of Life, Mass of the magnificent misfits,
we agreed to focus not on the opposites of energies
but rather on the reflections thereof,
placing conflicts in a coffin of cotton cries
consumed in confligration purple in prediction of panacea,
worry not of the damned, as Fate is not preplanned -

The message is lived my friend - and when I am unable, or choose not to worship God passionately then it will be my time to 'Pass' - I thank you for your kindness Harry - J.A.B. %

Interesting to read your work today Justin, I sense you have a true desire to find enlightenment; and I in my own thoughts consider part of that comes in sharing what we find along the path, and percive in a honest manner..) and hopefully there will be positive results..'

WOW! Justin, **I passionately worship God, then God will worship me** For some reason Passion drives who we are. We convince ourselves of the necessity and follow through the seemingly logical conclusion, that life comes with a price when born into this sinful world. The sanity we live in comes from the light and promises we hear when we are in the womb. The notion of my water breaking left a small hole in the reflection of my future. A deep write. nice to vent here. xox~ LINDA

Awesome to see another post from such a talented writer. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this one. Love that last line! It is so true! I'm sure God has read this as agrees. :) I hope this brings comfort to those who read it, as it brought much for me. You are so awesome--in every use of the word! Always, Laura

Yes Laura, the last line invokes the adage, ' One can not, or should not, help those who refuse to help themselves...' - the pillar message of this composition is that God should, and does respect those of us who persevere and who remain enamored with creation as much as those strong people admire God - thanks again Laura - J.A.B. %

Very intriguing...I also an taken with your use of alliteration. I won't pretend to understand all the references because I believe there is much here that goes beyond the realm of my thoughts. :) Vivid imagery, though...Lovely, though I have no idea how God can worship us....Maybe you will enlighten me on that one! Thanks for the visit and lovely post.

I feel successful when I can intrigue powerful minds such as yours Eileen - alliteration contributes greatly to keeping the language alive, the concepts pert - you already know everything its just a matter of recognition - my beautiful friend, without creatures like us 'God' is lonely - its not so hard for God to admire some of us - God loves strength - thanks for being lovely Eileen - J.A.B. %
