Already Over You
you lied
you cheated
you played games with my heart
you hurt me
you made me feel like i was nothing
you tore me apart
you promised you would never hurt me
what happened to that
do you remember
what was i to you
someone to live with you
clean your house
make you feel wanted at "home"
funny word isnt it.
home
four letters
yet when you say it,
you feel safe and warm and loved
you used that against me
and left me with nothing
no money
no house
no car
no job
nothing
and do you care
no
as long as you have her youre happy
but shes not happy with just you
ah but you know that
it takes all of your best friends to make her happy
but you two deserve each other
to make each others lives miserable
youre both pathetic in my eyes
cant decide what you want
dont know what you have
i hope you see how happy i am
even when it seems i have nothing
i have something youll never have
love.
thats what youre looking for
but youre looking in all the wrong places
instead of looking in the bed, under the covers
if you would have just opened your eyes
it was right in front of you
but now its too late for all that
im already over you.
