Alpha and Omega
The large pocket of gas
and debris spun transfixed,
as unknown magnetic forces
kept it spinning in its path
around the huge bright star.
Millions of times in the past
it had happened, occurring
with other stars throughout
the galaxy and the entire
myriad of connected space.
Countless life comes and goes
as eons pass in the flow of time.
Each being deals with their own,
remembering the lessons and
the meaning of pecking order.
He, called God, lifted man
to prod and analyze all things,
to raise him above fear, to
build love and grace and
to find his place in the plan.
Man grows but he wants no God.
His needs are amulets and creed,
riding the heavens “he” created
from the desolation left from
times when man was not “god”.
So recorded, those who wrote,
and those who saw the plan
and those who watched and
saw the hand and face of Him
who gives divine intervention.
******
The small frozen planet spun
around the lifeless, dried star.
