Alpha

Alpha’s running leap crashes down on the back of the fleeing man....
They crash tumbling into the snow....
Alpha’s jaws are still clamped down hard on the man’s neck as they roll to a stop....

The man can no longer move....
His terrified eyes see the rest of the pack catching up for their next meal.... Alpha licks the blood off his muzzle as he howls his victory....

Alpha scans the horizon and sniffs the air for the fear of his next victim.... His ears perk up and he huffs....
The pack is on the run after him once again....

It's a jungle out there. A vivid read. Well penned, Timothy.

Thank you. I love the raw emotion and disconnected empathy of a predator on the hunt searching for prey.
