Aloysius Wishes

Alousius was a most auspicious bird
He was also a bit daffy and wacky
And constantly went awry and absurd
As a bird one might say he was absolutely atrocious
And his appetency of eating rotten week old berries
Gave him the worst possible case of halitosis
Oh How! he did anguish the blue birds next door
That fell from their perches every time he exhaled
Emitting an odor that was completely obnoxious for
Any bird's friendship of his allure to be availed
How could he assuage this most delicate dilemma?
With great gusto he would absolve to reverse his song
By inhaling on the exhale which was quite a "problema"
He would absolve the stench like crimes to become one who
Soon was known as the famous rare species of legend's throng
As the ooooooOOOOOOHCOOOOOOooooo Cuckoo

Thanks Kim! Love your comment! I had originally wrote this for John's Crazy "A's" contest but when I finished it noticed it was Free Verse..........I decided to let it be. Lonna
