Along Came a Hairy Spider

Eight legged hairy spider
We can see it everywhere
It can’t fly but with a long and sticky web
Insects will stuck and grab it with speed

On one moonless starry night
The shadow of a spider is in sight
Combined with color orange and black
On top of the giant leaves ready to attack

On its throne between two trees
Lies a perfect web for flying insects
A home for a king with fangs so big
Perfect position for grabbing flies on twigs

Spider sometimes are annoying but on the other hand, they're also very helpful to us. A very beautiful poem about the spider my dear friend Maria. Good luck again in the contest my very dear friend! love much, Leonora

Was it wrong of me that my hair stood up a little as I read this? This was a very enjoyable piece. But, I feel the need to stand up & get some fresh air now. lol
