Alone In The Jungle

Alone in the jungle, I stumble, I struggle,
A solitary figure, lost in the depths of my own turmoil.
No one sees, no one hears, my cries echo through the trees,
As I wander, forsaken, in this wilderness of pain and misery.

I talk to the grass, the trees, the wind, and the rain,
For they're the only ones who don't judge, who don't condemn, who don't remain.
The pain I carry, a burden too heavy to bear,
A weight that presses down, a constant reminder of my despair.

Alone in the jungle, emotionally entangled,
Fighting predators, and the demons that haunt me, that strangle.
In this desolate land, where no one cares,
I'm just another forgotten soul, lost in the darkness, with no one to spare.

The jungle's vast, the trees loom tall,
A reflection of my emptiness, my hollowness, my fall.
I think of whys, and who's, and what's, and when's,
The questions swirl, like the jungle's maddening din.

I'm trying to be strong, to push forward, to survive,
But the bones are weak, the heart is tired, the soul is jaded.
They judge me wrongly, for they've never walked a mile,
In these shoes, in this jungle, where I'm forced to smile.

Every breath is a struggle, every meal a fight,
I grab what's available, no matter how meager, no matter how slight.
No luxury of choice, just survival's harsh refrain,
In the jungle, I'm a mere mortal, fragile, vulnerable, and in pain.

Alone in the jungle, with no one to talk to,
The silence is deafening, the loneliness is crippling, it's true.
Inside, a hole, a drum full of burden,
A weight that presses down, a pain that won't subside.

In this jungle, I'm lost, alone, and adrift,
A small, insignificant speck, in an vast, uncaring rift.
But still, I hold on, to hope's thin thread,
For in the darkness, there's a glimmer of light, a chance to be born again, to be made new.
