Alone In Sin

Here I sit alone at heart
this broken spirit is only the start.
For this darkened cloud now rolls in
blanketing me in my life of sin.
The dreams I have alone at night
haunt me for what I did not do right.
The people I would not help that day
keep me awake for what they may say.
If only I could stop this pain.
If only I could stop chasing people away with my emotional cane.
If only I could stop from going insane.
If only I could get out of this clouds rain.
Then maybe i wouldn't be alone at heart.
Then happiness will usher in a new start.
