Even when I was in a crowd, I was always alone. —Ernest Hemingway

Do crowds make you feel unseen? Wish someone knew your name What would it feel like to be heard? Maybe you need break the silence. You’re mouth makes no sound Footprints leave no trace Your heart forgets it’s warmth No one calls your name You wander through the crowd Wrapped within a shroud No one seems to care You are a nothing but air. No pain cuts deeper Than being unseen Nothing more crushing As having no voice. When walking a busy street Notice the shadow. When looking at a sunset Hear the unspoken words. See the quiet in the crowd, Hear words left unspoken Love begins the moment We choose to see the shadow ….
