Alone Doesn'T Mean Lonely
Sometimes being lonely can make you really sad and blue,
However that same lonely feeling is what helps get you back to being you,
You have that time to find yourself,
Figure out your worth,
Not depending on anyone else
Being alone can often bring you peace
A time to get your thoughts together
And achieve the goals you are trying to reach
You see, being alone doesn’t always mean you’re lonely
Even though it may feel that way
It’s just that God is letting you know
That you can make it on your own
Sometimes you need that time to breathe,
Time to show yourself what you do and do not need,
And if you want to, go ahead and let the tears flow,
Release all of the negativity so that your positivity can grow,
Over time you’ll get to who you are,
And realize you’re the best person you know,
You will sleep easier at night,
Your mind will be at rest,
And when the time comes for someone to stand with you,
You’ll be at your very best!
