Alone

Here I sit
here I lay
in darkened silence
like an infamous black hole
just swallowed me whole
its quiet
most say too quiet
but I say it's just right
most say they cant see in the dark
but I live in the shadows
as a shadow of my former self
this medicine I take
only lets me believe
that I am still all here
but its not true
I'm alone
out here in the dark
its just me,
no one else
when I seem to fade
my friends fade away from me
when you are alone
the darkness swallows you whole
leaving you with nothing
but the thoughts of being nothing
that is truly being alone
