Alone
"Alone"
Lost in my mind,
Concrete walls.
Falling through the air,
Leaving what I thought.
I want to take a chance.
The failure I want to avoid,
The final thought that crossed my mind.
I just want to run.
I can't move my feet.
All my mind is in use.
I'm only thinking of you.
I can't do what I want.
Another night alone,
Just like every one before it.
The mental pain of what I hear,
Just want to scratch my eyes out.
Like lightning destroying a tree,
My heart shatters in an amazing way.
You left it cracked,
I don't know anymore,
I just can't close the door on you.
