Alone

Its so dark and cold in here
I'm so scared I could cry
I keep turning in circles
can't find a place to hide

Why is this happening to me
Will I ever find the light
Why is this happening to me
I don't know how much longer
 I can put up a fight

Please can't you help me

Help me find my way
Please can't you save me
Don't just sit and watch me
Don't let me fade away

Its so dark and cold in here
I'm so scared I could cry
I don't want to go in circles
and no longer feel cold

Take me with you please

To a place we could hide
Show me what life is about
Then maybe the darkness
 will one day subside

Gabrielle Alcazaren Date: 5/1/2011 9:56:00 PM We've all been in a low place before and hopefully the darkness and cold you've encountered will subside. I think this could be a stronger piece if you used a little less repetition or separated it into stanzas. Also details and descriptions of the dark, the cold, the fear might help.
