Alone

I don’t have friends. Which makes me embarrassed. If they made fun of me, I would say- I don’t want friends! I am edgy! I am aloof! And that sounds better to me. I never really say that aloud. But if they cared enough to ask, yes I would say I hate everyone. Yes, I’m an edgy, aloof teen. I am too cool to have friends. I am not stupid, and weird… I could explain and explain until I get tired and cry. At the beginning of the semester, I don’t care where I sit. I’m unique in that way. Because I don’t have friends.
