Alone

As I walk alone,
I don't think about home.
Have I chose this life?
Do I deserve this strife?
Where did everyone go,
they left me alone.
As each day passes
each part of me lashes,
out to those who left me
but they can't hear my screams.
Who is there that says they are?
Who else knows my heart is barred?
Away from the world I lurk.
What did I do, why do I hurt?
I wonder if anyone thinks,
I wonder who remembers my name?
They all turned their back,
come on cut me some slack!
I'm alone, so alone.
