Almost There

I'm almost there but not quite yet
To a destination that I've set
Passing goals that I have done
With  victories that have been won

So many challenges I have met
I'm almost there but not quite yet
There's still some goals that are unfulfilled
Desires I have that are instilled

This journey that I'm on is oh so grand
Even if it's been quite unplanned
I'm almost there but not quite yet
There's things in life I still must vet

I'm nearing goals I set long ago
Of a life so full   this I know
The place I see is heaven sent
I'm almost there but not quite yet
