Almighty Lord

Almighty Lord

Almighty lord
You are the king of the forests
The plants, water, animals, and air
Man has tried to destroy you land
Killing all the trees around you
Still, you stand proud and defiant
The forest still lives on in your soul
Your regal antlers
They become the hope for the forest
Calling the birds forth to sing their songs
Letting the world know that your forest will not die
Will not be killed for man’s profits
One day soon, or maybe not so soon
The forests will return
The plants, water, animals, and air
Will all return to normal
And they will honor you almighty lord
For you are the one who never gave up
You are the one who fought
And you are the one who gave them back their homes
