All's Well

Fly now Bluebird, on your way
While I'll still hope for that someday
I understand and it's okay
There's things you'd rather no more say

Nothing changes on my end
You'll always be my pardner, friend
Of you I'll dream, you can depend
I'll write you things but won't hit send

I'll store them in my heart's bookcase
'Til I can say them to your face
A future time, some other place
I'll keep on filling up that space

Please worry not, I'll see this through
A tear may fall but I'll make do
And when the sky turns sunset blue
Know that I will think of you
