Allow Me

Allow me to see the light
Take these blinders from my eyes
Allow me to listen and understand
Give me the  courage and strength

Allow me to open my heart 
Fill me full of love
Allow me to be positive
Give me hope

Allow me to think clearly
Take these bad thoughts from my mind
Give me a good attitude,
 Give me the right thoughts


I want  to allow you to guide me
I need help getting through this life
Light my path before me
Show me the way.

I can't do this alone
I need you by my side
Please don't forsake me

I ask you to come into my heart
Help me be a better person
Give me the right kind of thinking
Allow me to speak the right words

I choose the best thing
I choose to follow you
