Allah Is Great
Yes, but he doesn’t slaughter,
he doesn’t murder,
he doesn’t maim –
instead, Allah is holy and great.
He doesn’t steal the truck in Stockholm
to run it over innocent people.
He doesn’t walk in hostility.
He is dignified in nobility.
Allah doesn’t creep behind you
to stun your face.
He doesn’t have mischievous thoughts -
vice of sloth is not his name.
For people in the temple
not knowing that Allah will close their eyes,
who die the martyr’s death –
their souls dwell with God.
