All We Have To Do Is Let Them Be
He was tying shoe laces, at the doorstep
I was in a rush to wrap up the conversation
As, all need to be ended , somewhere, anyway.
He greeted me goodbye and stepped out
Without an effort to tie those shoes.
I was smiling, and closing the door, then.
I read a poem once about should and should not
Hide and seek playing with the divine force
White in black or black in white, may be.
I was frightened today to see a picture
It was haunting me, like a pause in my life
I need to pray, o my Lord, I need to , solemnly.
All we have to do is let them be!
Dreams are never us, we are those dreams
I will buy those moments with my tiny hands,
To make you free on your desired land.
