I look into your eyes all these years later
I see the same man
Gentle blue eyes that give me one look
And I feel twenty again
The love that shines from your eyes
Is timeless and true
Never fading, never doubting
My love for you

That I have never been without
My trust is forever with you
You are a man of intelligence
And a remarkable sense of humour
You gave me the gift of laughter
When I thought I wouldn’t smile again
