All the Vain Rivers

"All the Vain Rivers"
Leaves safe harbour ports in a sharp quay stories reflecting from the hull of a boat penned down all the vain rivers tears now water tight somewhere home bound past the edge of my world (LadyLabyrinth / 2020)

I wonder how accurate that saying is, "Home is where the heart is"? I have been following the artistic merits of XavieRinato since 2008. Kind of genius lateral thinking creative....love it. Note, he hasn't produced anymore since 2019. Perhaps he has found 'Home'. I came across this gem and it struck Home. Perhaps Home is not the place one resides, but it is still yet to be found and secured. To find 'true' home, one has to leave the place of 'comfort'. Home is Love, is it not? when you get down to the nuts and bolts of it. One could remonstrate, Home is Love of Self...but it is more than that - "no man is an island". True "Home" is found only when one ventures away from 'comfort' and embarks on the journey towards ... yet to be confirmed. One has to ask themselves, after all that, is Love, "comfort" or something, that is not "comfort"? xx

"Each had his past shut in him like the leaves of a book known to him by heart; and his friends could only read the title."/"The eyes of others our prisons; their thoughts our cages"./“So long as you write what you wish to write, that is all that matters; and whether it matters for ages or only for hours, nobody can say.”/"I am made and remade continually. Different people draw different words from me". Woolf.
