Hey, Ms. Reporter May I have a word with you You seem energized by the chaos today Seems that you love what you do Hey, Mr. Reporter May I have a word with you You interview traumatized protestors Seems that you share their views But tell me, Mr. and Mrs. Reporter Why don't you ever interview police Who've been pelted with rocks and far worse ~ Could it be that your 'likes' would decrease

Hi Gershon, The incident with the unforgivable policeman and George Floyd was the trigger for what became the boiling point, it then spilt over, there is an inequality, thats is how I see it, the protests have spread and reverberated around the world quicker than the corona virus! As for the reporters they thrive on sensation be it good or bad, a little bit like pick up trucks waiting on the corner for an accident to happen, in other words all could be called vultures. Blessings, Jennifer.

Vultures --- and hyenas, though I'm not laughing. Thanks, Jennifer. :) Gershon

We are all victims of the news! They control the narrative and shape the truth! So true! In UK police have been interviewed and we have heard their stories. UK police are better in many ways but still they are at the receiving end.

Thanks for your support, Krish… and we are, indeed, all shaped by the news, for better and often for worse. Thanks, Gershon

I think if the newsmen would have gone home the riots would have shut down immediately also. When they run to schools and report avidly about misfortunes that happen there, it put all of the teachers all over the world in danger. I would like to shut them all down and make them only report on good news. Great idea.

At least there should be some kind of balance between the good and the bad news. On any given day, it's usually heavily weighted toward the bad! Thanks, Caren

You hit it right on the nail, they only report what fits their narrative.. Gershon, I think if they reported what is really happening, they would have to work for Fox News..lol it use to be 3 different sides to every story, he said, she said and the truth. I don't even think they care about the views, it's more like who ever believes them. Linda

Yes. One has to stop and think a minute first though. We've gotten so used to read reporting that's completely one-sided. Completely. This is what happens in one-party cities and media where almost all 'reporters' belong to one point of view. Thanks, Judy. ~ Gershon

What Kenneth below said. The mold the news so you only hear and see what they want you to see.

The narrative, all must fit the all important narrative. They spin and weave to deceive, rather then retrieve, report and leave.

You said it right. 'Reporters' no longer exist. Today, they're all editorialists, opinion columnists, and entertainers. Thanks, Kenneth.
