All the Locked Doors
Some say you can tell a person is important if they have many keys on their chain, and it’s true.
But you should know well that those with only a few, or just one or two, are quite important, too.
In this world under the sun, everyone - without exception - gets one key that your imagination must visualize
Because nobody can see it with just their eyes.
The ridges are shaped to perfection, without exception, by who you are and what you go through,
And for all the doors you cannot open, all those doors that are locked to you
There is at least one door that you, and maybe only you, can open,
Like a joke that God shares only with you, with a punch line unspoken.
And just know you’ll laugh together one day
So don’t cry your days under the sun away.
