All the Liars and the Cheaters By Franklin Price 2/11/2016 All the liars and the cheaters Have not yet come and went A lot of them are still around Some run for president They're Party independent You can see them everywhere Some hide behind religion You can even find them there Present themselves as truthful Swear on the Bible by the hour Check them out before you vote them in All they're seeking is the power They want to take advantage Of your belief in God Make you believe they're pious So you'll give them the nod That they are believers Is where their lying all begins If you vote for them they'll bless you And forgive you of your sins Don't forget our founding fathers Separated Church and State Certainly you can see just why It's very evident of late The character of politics And how it's done today Does not treat others as yourself It's just not done that way When you hear a politician Say he's guided by the Lord While contriving lies about opponents Run away and cut the cord
