All the fake stunts I pulled, you never bought them
All the fake stunts I pulled, you never bought them,
All the cigarettes I rolled, you never smoked them,
I need a light in my life to illuminate all the darkness,
I need a space to breathe, to heal from the pain that weighs on me.
You and I, when we meet, we surpass all expectations, we lose ourselves in infinity,
Taking too much of everything we love, hurting ourselves in the process,
We fool around in the hotel of broken hearts, never tired of searching for each other,
Always ready to start over, again and again, without stopping.
Always found unconscious at the end, caught in this never-ending phase,
But you, you never bought them, never believed in them,
Girl, you never believed in me, in all these stories,
I wonder if I will ever find the truth in my unspoken lies.
We search for a light to guide us, a refuge amidst the chaos,
We long for a place to breathe, to heal from all that has hurt us,
And yet, in this dance of confusion and desire, we lose ourselves,
But maybe, one day, we will find that balance between illusion and reality.
