Listen to poem:

All That Is Left

“The eye is the lamp of the body”

A twinkle , a spark, a stare, a gaze
Happy,excited,mad ,or sad.
Fearful,cautious,joyful,amazed,
Attentive,tired,distracted,or glad,
But there is nothing worse than hollow.

For what once was there is gone now,
Given,taken,or lost somehow
And with nothing to take it’s place
All that is left is hollow.

I sold my soul,I lost my love
My all was taken from me,
Oh that vice, they broke my heart,
I have nothing for all to see.
All that is left is hollow.
