All That I Know

A subtle verge for eternal life, Or is the world as it seems, Destined to exterminate ourselves, In a turmoil-like stage of dreams, The inevitability of our one shared fate, Our only reason to look ahead, But what happens after the fact? Are the dead..., Really dead? Or was there matter before beginning, A freeze in time, The conclusion of existence lies, In the exact point unable to find, What is man when it seems, There is no reason for life on earth, Or where this soul comes from, Shortly after a child's birth, Where are we going we ask, Seemingly far from nil, Maybe to a state of numbness, To where you feel that you can't feel, All I know is what is said of love, That it is the essence of creation, That it brought my being to yours, When I had a selection of a nation, I often think it hard to fathom, That my purpose is anything but to find you, It is the ecstasy of nirvana, As if parallel lifetimes of deja vu.
