All That Happens Between
Between sunrise and sunset,
dawn becomes morning with
sounds and chatter of people
going on their way,
their thoughts full and hurried,
to the next essential chore.
Afternoon too soon...
Lunch on the run, feels like
day's just begun.
Who did you forget to call and is it
all right that you forgot,
perhaps not.
Apology on the way through electronic
convenience, sometimes a nusiance of
interruptions...pledging now, to not
text and drive to stay alive.
Time to clock out from work!
Look at that jerk moving too fast.
At last the road home is near...
Look at that sky,
My oh my!
Think I'll paint the sunset tonight,
right before I kiss the babies goodnight,
Got to meet the man again tomorrow...
Waht man?
The one who perhaps writes the checks or
can eject you from your lively-hood...Sighhhhh!
Take a deep breath!
Wow, look at that sky!
